About Us – Leadership at GACG

The GI International is managed by the experienced and qualified teams who hold decades of experience in the fields of development and reconstruction.

The GI International has a workforce joined together by all the supervisors of different sections for leading the group of companies to a standing victory among the present operating companies in the country actively taking part in the restoration and rehabilitation works.

The Leadership at the GI Internatioanl is determined not by the age a person has reached to, but by the capability and self generating plans the person contributes to the company and has Board of Directors through which all the offices are monitored and managed with recruitments of energetic and qualified persons on the bases of their confidence and energy which can be utilized for the successful implementation of the development project in the country.

Finally, we at the GI International respect all the staff working for us and provide them with better working environment through out the working hours and cheer them with friendly behaviors during their engagement period with us.

- Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Nawabi

Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Nawabi is the founder of the HELP Afghanistan (Humanitarian & Employment Long-term Program for Afghanistan) and ARC (Afghanistan Reconstruction Committee) organizations with the aim of assisting the vulnerable communities with proper health and education.

Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Nawabi holds a Doctors degree as General Physician from the Kabul Medical University and has worked as the Health Director in the Zabul province during the 1980,s and then migrated to Pakistan where he joined the Arabs Funded Hospital as the Medical Superintendent, providing health care facilities to the Afghan refugees.

With the establishment of the new government in the country. Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Nawabi established the HELP Afghanistan Organization which focused on fund raising from the International Communities with generating proposals aiming urgent humanitarian aids and health and education awareness.

With having more than 35 years of experience in the development fields, Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Nawabi is the chairman of the GI International responsible for over all management of the company.

President & CEO - Khairullah Khan Nawabi

Mr. Khairullah Khan Nawabi has been the President & the Chief Executive Officer of the NPCC Nationwide for the past 7 years having worked on multiple development projects and has the qualification in Business Management and is now studying International Relations.

Mr. Khairullah Khan Nawabi has skills of communicating to the donor agencies with having fluency in multiple languages such as Pashtu, Dari and English and has worked close with the local communities in need of rehabilitation, education and proper health care and is experienced in introducing urgent humanitarian aids to the donors.

Mr. Khairullah Khan Nawabi is the President & the Chief Executive Officer of the Gateways Innovative International Group for leading the group of companies to succeed and achieve the clients’ satisfaction in the field of development.

- Mustafa Khan Nawabi

Experienced in the Business Management and specialized in the Human Resources Management with having experience of more than 7 years for being the Vice President of the NPCC Nationwide.

Mr. Mustafa Khan Nawabi has also worked with the Coalition Forces as a Culture Advisor with having cultural and geographical knowledge and fluency in multiple languages and also holds the Permanent Residence Card of the United States of America.

Mr. Mustafa Khan Nawabi has been creative in terms of project implementations and assists the GI International with appointing specific teams for proper and on time development works in the country thus his over all confidence and creativity has played an effective role in success and prosperity of the group of companies he has been connected to.

- Eng. Ahmed Bashiri

Having graduated from the Kabul Engineering University with specialty in the Civil Engineering, Eng. Ahmed Bashiri has been working for the GACG since its establishment and has worked with other major construction companies prior to joining our team.

Eng. Bashiri has managed over 100 development projects since 2001 with having technical expertise in all types of comprehensive structures including the concrete, timber and steel facilities. The projects implemented so far include, Tarin Kot High School which was 14,000 square feet, the Tarin Kot Hospital with 40 beds, multiple wells both Drinking and Irrigation and Road Infrastructures.

Eng. Ahmed Bashiri has advanced communication skills while generating technical proposals for the Funding Agencies and estimating over all budgets of the projects under implementation thus is highly capable of training the Field Teams for proper and satisfactory implementations.

Eng. Ahmed Bashiri has managed and supervised the projects funded by the US Special Forces, Australian Defence Forces, MRRD and Netherlands Royal Forces and holds multiple recommendation letters from the clients.

- Eng. Hasan Totakhel

Eng. Hasan Totakhel, an Afghan citizen with having graduated from the Kabul Engineering University and having all kinds of field experiences, has been working with GACG for the last 6 years.

He has remained as the Field Project Manager for many of the GI International implemented projects under the supervision of the Program Section and has a complete experience with tracking all field matters, avoiding project delays, assuring the quality as required, training the Field Teams for smooth implementation and reporting back to the Program Manager for client feedbacks.

Eng. Hasan Totakhel has been passionate about the tasks assigned to him and has friendly and cooperating relationship with the Clients.

- Farooq Ahmed Davi

Having graduation in Economics from the Kabul University, Mr. Farooq Ahmed Davi is a talented and experienced person in the field of administration and finance.

Mr. Davi has worked with the NPCC Nationwide Country Office for more than 5 years and has trained many team members in the administration and financial sectors. He has obtained better cooperation between the Main and the Field Offices through enhanced administrative mechanism adopted.

Mr. Davi has worked with many construction companies prior to joining the GI International team and has proven to be a great asset in all the financial and administrative matters.

- Sadia Jamal

Miss Sadia Jamal has graduated from the Arts Department of Kabul University and has worked as office manager in many multi-national companies.

She is experienced in the field of tracking meeting records with the clients and notes all the meeting subjects during the session where as she is also responsible for passing the board of directors’ decisions and meeting minutes among the team members.

Miss Jamal has been a cooperative member of the Main Office and her discipline is acclaimed by all the team members.

- Khalid Ahmed

Mr. Khalid Ahmed has a vast knowledge of implementing projects in all the desired locations and has an experience of more than 15 years while working in the fields, has satisfied all the Clients by his fast action and quality assurance.

Mr. Khalid Ahmed is a well known person to most of the clients because of his management and supervision on site and has been actively participating in the field meetings with having a complete experience of all the construction related projects.

While having worked on multiple development ventures, Mr. Khalid Ahmed can easily communicate to the Client Representatives through the project documentations produced by the GI International and the ones available from the Clients.

- Dr. Ahmed Jamal

Dr. Ahmed Jamal, an experienced and educated person working in the Human Resources Section of the GACG. Mr. Jamal has graduated from the Kandahar University and has worked in many companies.

Mr. Jamal has been identical in appointing new energetic young people from the communities and encouraging the Female candidates for applying for the available vacant posts.

Mr. Jamal has been cooperating through out the project implementations while finding job opportunities for the local available people and finding the best and suitable candidate the GACG is looking for.

With the Human Resources Section headed by Dr. Ahmed Jamal, the GI Internatioanl has always worked on multiple projects simultaneously with appointing the experienced and qualified persons from among the applied ones.

- Aminullah Khostai

Mr. Aminullah Khostai has been managing his personal transportation and delivery business while serving many Coalition Forces Bases in the country prior to joining the GI International.

Mr. Aminullah is a graduate of the Economics Department from the Kandahar University with having experience of more than 12 years in the logistic field and is completely experienced in implementing all kinds of delivery, supply and transportation related projects.

With having Mr. Khostai, the GACG has seen tremendous change in the completion of the logistic works assigned while reaching to the desired goals on time and having complete satisfaction of the clients.

Mr. Jim Ellifritt is an American Lieutenant Colonel, who holds Masters Degree from the George Fox University and has been involved in Heavy Building Remodel and Construction for the past 30 years, both commercial and residential, has been appointed as the GI Internatioanl Overseas Representative in the United States of America for communicating to all the American based companies.

LTC Jim Ellifritt has worked as the Commander for the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Zabul Province, Afghanistan from the year 2004 to 2005 and has conducted over 120 development projects including schools, clinics, government building, roads, electrical grid and wells.

During his commandership in the Qalat PRT, he has known and used HELP Afghanistan as a Contractor for major development programs.

Mr. Ahmed Abdul Sultani is one of the representatives of the Gateways Asia Construction Group who is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates working as the Head of the Overseas Procurement Officer.

Mr. Sultani has been handling all the international general order supplying issues while assisting the GI Internatioanl with quality and on time delivery of all kind of materials, items, tools and other required equipments.

Mr. Sultani has been appointed as the International Procurement Officer for the purchase, delivery and maintenance of all the required equipments and machineries according to the Clients satisfaction.
